Beef
Our main beef production site in Kalulushi processes approximately 1000 cattle per month into products for the home market and African customers. Zambia is the largest target market. We supply meat to national and international retailers, as well as food service and our own retail outlets. We also process fresh beef into semi-finished and finished products for the domestic and foreign retail markets.
Highest quality standards
Our site represents technical expertise combined with the latest production facilities. Together with the highest quality standards, this enables us to manufacture high-grade products. As one of the largest cattle slaughtering companies in the Copperbelt Province, Forte aspires to further expand its market position.
Full utilisation of the animals
At the Kalulushi site, around 95 percent of the animal is processed. From young bulls to healthy cattle’s. The different eating habits around the continent can thus be satisfied.
Pork
Forte is a national producer of pork with its production site in Kalulushi. Within the division Pork, we process roughly 700 pigs a month.
We deliver fresh pork and derived products to national and international retailers, foodservice and our own retail outlets. Forte processes fresh pork into semi-finished and finished products for the domestic and export retail market.
Poultry
To support Local farms and farmers in and around Copperbelt we also source Dressed Whole Chickens and Chicken Offals in large quantity. These are grown in very healthy and natural environment. Slaughtered, dressed and packed with highest order of Hygiene. We distribute and sell it mostly through our Own retail channel and cater also to reputed Mining companies.

The key to our products’ freshness and quality assurance is the integrated inline production under one roof. The entire value creation chain, from slaughter to finishing to packaged product, takes place at one site. Amongst other benefits, this ensures continuous quality control and guarantees an uninterrupted refrigeration and hygiene line.
Livestock

With our focus on the sale, trade and transport of live animals for slaughter and production, we oversee the entire value-creation process from start to finish. Meat processing
Forte produces and distributes a wide variety of fresh, smoked and processed sausage products mainly for the Zambian market and also for export to neighbouring countries. Our advanced production lines use the latest machine technology, facilitating an efficient and flexible production of quality products.
Forte’s retail product range is continually being developed. The demand for convenience products is increasing. Young consumers, especially, don’t want to spend a long time in the kitchen. But they do want to be able to vary their meat consumption. We respond to this demand with our broad range.
Individual B2B customer’s requests can also be met: be it stacked packs, overlapping fan packs, the convenient serve box, in a round format, in thick or very thin slices, in single or double layers, in small or large formats.

Strategically located within walking distance to the border between Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, the outlet sells products produced at its main plant together with other meat, such as poultry and fish, to customers from the D.R. Congo.

Successful positioning in international markets
The international activities of the Forte Group are controlled and implemented by the company’s head office in Kalulushi. Within the division, the group specifically plans and implements sales and marketing. This includes marketing and direct sales of the entire Forte products portfolio.
The team in the International Division constantly analyses foreign markets. The division also performs market and trend analyses and focuses on current megatrends, the development of consumer needs and competitive activities. The goal: to always be close to the pulse of market developments and to define niches for existing and new products and fill them as quickly as possible.

FORTE TRANSPORT is the most trusted cross- Industry provider of Transport Services in ZAMBIA, specializing in temperature-controlled transport.
Forte Group owns Brand new 40 Howo Trucks with Customised Refrigerated Trailers which has optimum capacity to carry upto of 75 CBM volume of Frozen Goods weighing upto maximum 30 Tons.
The Specially made 40 FT Trailer has been customised and built to suit Central African Roads to make Transportation swift and smooth across Central and Southern African countries. All our Trailers fixed with Carrier Compressor which can Freeze the Goods at maximum -20 Degree and a minimum of +2 Degree. We also provide transport service for Companies dealing with dry goods and Mining goods through our Transport carrier across all Central and Sothern African Borders.
We use high-end technology to Track the Movement of Trucks with the designated route and monitor Fuel consumption, Temperature Control and Speed Tracking. We have associated with U Track Africa which provides solution through online monitoring platforms using Radio Frequency (RFID)/ Bluetooth and GPS/ GPRS combined.
Forte Transport has employed its own Team to monitor and resolve Real time Challenges through efficient Networking. We have a Team of 43 Well Trained Drivers, 1 tracking Expert and a Transport Operations Manager who controls the complete Logistic Operations.
